On a cold winter morning I decided to make the trip to Multnomah Falls. It was raining and had been raining all night. I decided to go anyway because on previous visits to the falls I had seen clouds swirling around giving the area kind of a forbidding look. When I arrived at dawn it was raining hard and socked in. But a few minutes later I was rewarded when the clouds parted slightly and the falls almost seemed to be falling through them.
