This Photo was taken during a summer storm that was passing over Rocky Mountain National Park around midnight. My father and I were set up and taking star photos up at dream lake during the night. Once we decided we had enough star photos we started our hike down the mountain when we saw a storm moving across the valley below. We decide to stay and take a few photos even though we were a little tired now that it was early morning hours. I sure am glad we stayed though because I came away with this shot of the internally lit lightning storm cell with Longs Peak and the stars overhead creating the perfect frame.
