Every winter snowy owls visit Michigan in search of food. This year I wanted to see one so I drove to Fish Point in search of one. Fish Point has some similar characteristics as the Artic from where they live, so I was hoping they would be there. I spotted this one sitting on a fence in a field and stopped to watch it. I was hoping to catch one in flight, and after sitting watching for over an hour, it decided to take flight, giving me the chance to capture this photo.
