Pentax k20D camera on manual focus. Pentax 18-55 zoom lens set at 37mm ISO400 Fstop 13 Shutter speed 1/8. photo was warmed up in processing. Shot just as the sun dipped below the canyon walls.

Description

This small lava rock was laying next to a large glacier smoothed rock. It has been worn round by glaciers and water and dropped beside this smoother volcanic rock. The Dry canyons of Central Oregon were formed by volcanic action and earthquakes then smoothed by water ice and time.
