Reflections on Fishing

Coming into Port Hardy turn right at the sign that indicates the ferry on Bear Cove highway. Just around the first corner there is a sign that says wildlife viewing - a sharp left hand turn. Follow that little road to the parking area and the walking path is immediately visible.

The area is known for bear sightings so just be aware of what is around you and make some noise while on the trail.

I was walking by the Quatse estuary and just happened to glance towards this swampy area. I could not believe my eyes when I saw the heron and the reflections. My lucky day!
