This photo was taken right after a tropical rainstorm on the Big Island in Hawaii. While taking shelter from the rain, I noticed that rain drops were collecting on a fern plant right in front of me. Unfortunately, I didn't have a dedicated macro lens with me. Instead, I mounted the Nikon D300 on a tripod and attached my 70-200 F/2.8 VR lens in conjunction with the excellent Canon 200D close-up adapter. I kept shooting until I was satisfied with the exposure, focus and blurry background.
