On the last day of our safari in the Okavango Delta in Botswana, we left well before dawn. Noticing a huge, rather unnatural cloud cover, I saw a break on the eastern horizon and we headed for the Baobab trees to catch the twilight glow in the clouds before sunrise. I saw a dead tree standing and captured it in silhouette against the pre-dawn sky. I managed to get several shots made before sunrise. It was the best morning color of the entire safari. I metered for the sky and underexposed one stop. No color enhancement in post production.
