I get a few days a week to just drive around aimlessly looking for photo opportunities. I've driven past this bicycle a dozen or more times and never thought much about it. On this particular day, after a fresh snow fall, the bike caught my eye as I drove past. Often times I'd just keep driving, but this time I stopped, backed up and leaned out the window with my telephoto, and grabbed the shot. The personal story for me is that, if you see something interesting, take the shot! I don't know how many times I've made an excuse not to stop, or turn around, or look deeper, but now I know that if my gut says "that might be a good photo" then it's worth taking the time to try it out.
