One morning, I noticed a deer outside the window. Still in pajamas and slippers, I rushed to grab my camera and raced outside. I started shooting through the fence, but then realized I would get a better angle if I moved. I happened to adjust the focus to the right place in order to allow the texture of the fur to be visible. Even though this photo was spontaneous and unplanned, it is one of the best shots I have taken to date. I took this at age 13.
