Luminous Attraction

Early evening light on a nearby bluff and the rolling hills behind it in Theodore Roosevelt National Park, North Unit. The hills are fantastic subjects but remote. I searched for a vantage point to convey their remoteness and found an elevated ridge, high enough to create the perspective of depth with the rows of hills and mountains behind the prominent middle ground bluffs. This foreground position, because of its triangular shape and being sun-lit, was also included to guide the viewer into and directly toward those mid-ground bluffs.
