Hayden Valley - Yellowstone National Park
I was shooting from my vehicle parked on a pullover. I zeroed in on this behemoth as it swaggered away from a carcass, getting just its back end for most of its sojourn. I kept wishing...."turn your head, turn your head....please". It finally did just before the tree line and I got the one and only shot I was going to get. This was clearly a motivational moment for me, getting one of the big mammals on a one-time shot.
