Sled Dogs on the Run

we were lucky it was not very cold out this day as we ended up spending most of the day sitting in a snowbank!

I had an extra day to spend in Fairbanks, Alaska before leaving the next morning on a tour. My friend and I heard there was a sled dog race going on so we went there to watch and take some photos. It was very interesting and fun to see all the dogs. We found a place where they would be coming around a corner and got ourselves down in a snowbank to try and get eye level with the racers. A very fun afternoon.
