The setting sun illuminates the exhaust trail of two rockets launched from Vandenberg Air Force Base over Mt. San Jacinto in Palm Springs, Calif.
This image was shot on film with a Nikon F4 and a 300mm lens on Fuji Superia 100 color negative film. The image was converted to digital format using a Nikon Coolscan 4000 film scanner.
