I used an 8mm fisheye lens to capture this temporary waterfall in the Alabama hills.
Description
Only when we have tons of rainfall or snowmelt will this waterfall appear near the Alabama hills. I took this photo last month when the Eastern Sierra was absolutely drenched in the rainfall. That rainfall actually turned into a flash flood and washed out parts of Movie Road and Tuttle Creek. It was a long, muddy, hike to this spot and I sunk in the freezing water above my knees (lower left corner is deeper than it looks) but it was all worth it for the experience and photo.
