Frozen Tranquility Amidst Turbulance

Located halfway between Quinnesec and Iron Mt. on US-2.

The spring warmth had melted most of the ice at Fumee Falls and created a cascading runoff. This stalwart ice formation had remained despite the water roaring about it. Because of a heavy overcast I was able to use a long exposure without a filter or extremely small aperture.
