Atlanta got hit hard earlier this week with an unexpected ice storm that was predicted by the weather forecasters to hit south of the Metroplex. Boy were they wrong! This shot was taken on Wednesday morning about 20 hours after the storm had hit. After taking refuge in a restaurant parking lot and sleeping in my car, I ventured out to capture some memories on my i-Phone. You can see the ice still painting the roads and in the background, traffic on Interstate 75 is still not moving. Kudos to all the good Samaritans who came to the rescue of thousands of weary travelers!
