One afternoon in the early winter of 2014, as I was driving home from work, I decided to grab my gear and head up Green Cay Wetlands & Nature Center in Boynton Beach, Florida to see what shots I could make. Unfortunately, the clouds and sky looked great during the 30 minute drive from home, but when I got into the wetland area the sky just didn't do it for me. Since I had been intending to mostly wide angle landscapes, I only took my 10-24mm lens; and therefore any shots I made of the so wildlife turned out to be less than acceptable. As I was walking around the boardwalk toward to exit the wetlands, I saw this composition. I quickly set up my tripod, and made the shot.
