Description
March at the Rowe Sanctuary on the Platte River in central Nebraska. 600,000 Sandhill Cranes on the river. We were in a blind maybe twenty yards from 10,000 of the birds as they woke up. If you watched a bird would start to lean forward before it took off. This guy was just starting to move.
