Backlit Red Tailed Hawk In Flight

While watching the annual Miramar Air show, I was also watching this hawk fly around above us performing his own aerial show. Was very fortunate to get him in full wing span during his turn while the sunlight simultaneously backlit his wings. Very difficult to get a sharp photo of a flying bird high above while panning at my full 300mm - but prevailed!
