Snowy White Owl In Winter

Take Route 208/Pool Street to Mile Stretch Road in Biddeford Pool and you will find stretches of white beach, marshland and birds everywhere.

I had heard that people were seeing tons of snowy white owls in Biddeford Pool, on Mile Stretch Road, so I headed there with a friend and my camera and we saw several, most particularly this beautiful specimen, perched on the Rachel Carson Preserve sign! We were able to get within 50 feet of him or her without any signs of fear on his/her part.
