Frozen Holly
This has been an unusual winter for the Cape with lots of snow lasting far longer than usual. This was taken during a brief walk in town conservation woods the day after one storm in late January. Snow was still clinging to the trees and shrubs growing wild along the shady side of the trail. The holly bushes are abundant and their glossy green against the snow presents a nice contrast. The frozen formation hanging below was a lucky accident caught before it melted away.
