It was 3:00 PM in Yosemite National Park. I stood next to 10 other photographers at Tunnel View while being pelted by a relentless blast of sleeting rain and balls of hail. Then there was 9….8…..7…..3 photographers suffering the bitter cold summer snap. Then it came. The storm break we were hoping for. As the light poured into the valley a giant rainbow appeared as we photographed like little kids until it disappeared. When it was all done we looked at each other and smiled. This is why we do this over and over again.
