As an US Air Force navigator, I enjoyed the brief opportunities of gazing through the cockpit window admiring the earth passing under our feet. After serving 24 years, I'm pursuing another passion, photography, where landscapes and architecture represent my favorite subjects. I've found my most rewarding images embrace additional long time interests in geology, astronomy and meteorology. For me, there's a thrill in forming a vision, blending in aspects of these Earth sciences and then planning for right light. Since these elements and amazing light briefly combine for impressive shows, I relish the moments when anticipation and preparation results in capturing stunning scenes which evokes awe and excitement. Meshack Otieno once surmised, the ability to store emotion and feelings within a frame is the Art of Frozen Time. With these thoughts I hope you enjoy these images!
