Bio

Over the past 11 years, except for a two-year stay in Mongolia, my wife Barbra and I have lived in four remote villages in the Alaska bush from Point Hope, an Eskimo village located 200 miles above the Arctic Circle to Chignik Lake, a village of 50 or so Native Americans mostly of Alutiiq heritage on the remote, salmon-rich Alaska Peninsula. We currently reside in Newhalen, a village of about 150 residents on the shores of massive Lake Iliamna. My portfolio is filled with photos of bears, birds, other wildlife, people and the landscapes that have been part of our life.
