I've been drawn to the effects of light most of my life. After borrowing my dad's camera on a trip to Colorado in the 60's, an interest evolved into a passion for me. I read every book and attended every photo lecture available. These photographic influences taught me many things. One of the most important lessons was that I was photographing light not objects. Sounds so simple, but it was a revelation to me. Digital photography has resurrected this passion and added the wonderful creative step of post processing not available in the film era.
