I started shooting in 1999 with a Canon A-1, a variety of SSC and L lenses including a Canon 35mm SSCTilt/Shift lens for lighthouse/architecture photos. I advanced into a Mamiya 1000S 645 med format with a Sekor 50mm f4 Shift lens and a 150mm portrait lens. I learned how to shoot manual on film with filters and incident metering. To move into AF for wildlife I started with a Canon Rebel 2000 with a 28-80mm and a 75-300mm III USM lens. My digital world started with a Canon Rebel XTi, then a T5i. I then graduated to a Canon 77D 24 MP APS-C with a variety of EF "L" lenses including a 24-105mm f4 ISL. I've recently (2020) acquired an EOS RP mirrorless with a lens converter for my EF lenses.
