Bio

Nature/Wildlife, Landscape photography based in Nathrop, Colorado.  With a natural tendency to want to "play" outside, I have spent the last four decades climbing over rocks, hiking up mountains and taking in the scenery of stunning places.  My love of nature and eye for beauty have made photography a medium to produce evocative and artistic images of places and animals not always seen.  Not willing to settle for canned scenery shots, or images taken in zoos and wildlife parks, I will hike miles to find the right setting, trails not required. The bulk of my art is done while exploring the mountains in mt back yard, which in includes lakes, valleys, and 14,000 foot peaks of the Sawatch range, the Sangre de Cristo mountains and the Arkansas river valley in Colorado.
