Here it is! My latest ebook, Landscapes in Lightroom 5: The Essential Step-by-Step Guide, is now available. I’m really excited about this new ebook, because I’ve been able to incorporate features that make this more of a hands-on learning experience. First, you can download the original Raw files used as examples in the ebook, and then follow along with each step yourself – just as if you were attending one of my workshops.
In this incredible photograph, Richard Gottardo caught multiple lightning strikes near Calgary in Alberta, Canada. He saw the potential in the weather system that was forming and he went to an vantage point above the city in the hopes of getting a good photo.
Near Broken Bow, Nebraska, Erik Perozo took this dramatic photograph and he submitted it to the Stormscapes Assignment which is open through the 31st of July. When this storm was forming, Perozo saw the potential for the photograph, but he wasn't in a good position to get the exact shot he wanted.
National Parks Assignment Winner Kristal Leonard's photo of Half Dome by moonlight was the result of seeing the potential for a photo then persevering through several frustrating attempts to get the photograph.
Aaron Meyers' photo from Volcanos National Park on The Big Island of Hawaii was submitted to the National Parks Assignment which has been held over until tomorrow 7/16. Photographing the lava flow can be dangerous because of the obvious problems of dealing with molten rock.
