4K GoPro Hero3 Unveiled
GoPro Hero3 Black
Last night GoPro, makes of the popular Hero line of ultra-compact HD video cameras, announced the Hero3. The new camera is available in 3 version, Whilte, Silver and Black. The Black version can shoot up to 4K cinema resolution at 12fps. You can also shoot at 2.7k cinema 30 fps / 1440p 48 fps / 1080p 60 fps / 960p 100 fps /720p 120 fps. The 120 fps at 720p opens up the world of hi-res slow-motion effects.

Still Photo Capabilities
The Hero3 Black can shoot still frames at 12, 7 and 5MP resolutions in bursts up to 30 photos per second. Continuous shooting at 3 photos per second, 5 photos per second and 10 photos per second. Timelapse shooting can be set at 0.5, 1, 2, 5, 10, 30, 60 second intervals. There’s also simultaneous Photo + Video available at 12MP + 1440p 24 fps, 8MP + 1080p 30 fps and 8MP + 720p 60 fps.
