Photo Of The Day By Jorge Romano
Today’s Photo Of The Day is Aspens In Fall by Jorge Romano. Location: Inyo National Forest, California.
“Aspens are very beautiful trees all year long, but in fall, their leaves turn yellow and red,” says Romano. “Unfortunately, these colors don’t last more than a few days before the leaves fall to the ground, so being there at the peak time requires planning and some luck since every year seems to be a bit different depending on the temperatures and the wind.”
Photo of the Day is chosen from various OP galleries, including Assignments, Galleries and the OP Contests. Assignments have weekly winners that are featured on the OP website homepage, Facebook and Twitter. To get your photos in the running, all you have to do is submit them.
