“A light ground mist filtered the sun's intensity as it rose above the horizon, and this added some nice color tones to the scene as a construction of sandhill cranes preen themselves prior to joining the morning fly out,” describes Everett. “The Sacramento Delta area provides a crucial habitat for the birdlife that migrate along the Pacific Flyway.
