Clouds Assignment Winner Bud Walley
Desert Clouds by Bud Walley
Congrats to Bud Walley for winning the Clouds Assignment!
“This image was taken on July 14th 2012 in the Mojave Desert’s Johnson Valley off-road area. As usual here in the desert in July, there were thunderstorms brewing in the desert. A couple of friends and I decided to go out to see if we could capture some of the deserts dramatic skies. I saw these clouds developing in my side view mirrors. We stop, set up and started shooting. This shot is a perfect example, that when you are out trying to capture the beauty of landscapes, don’t forget to look behind you,” says Walley.
Equipment: Canon EOS 7D, Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8 lens, Lightroom 3
