Winner: "Welcome To The Jungle" By Christopher Baker
“I was in our backyard flowerbed early one morning with my macro lens searching for some insects or flowers to photograph,” explains Baker. “I was peering underneath a large host plant when I had an idea to attach my ultra wide angle (20mm) lens and put the camera under the canopy to take a few shots. A property I love with wide angle lenses is their ability to focus close to their subjects and provide interesting perspectives that can't be replicated with a macro lens. This shot reminds me of a scene from the movie ‘Honey, I Shrunk the Kids’.”
