Fauna: Land, Sea, & Sky

Wildlife photography exhibition by Al Vinjamur

The Bohemian Benevolent & Literary Association is pleased to present Fauna: Land, Sea, & Sky, an exhibition of wildlife photography by Al Vinjamur (www.alvinjamur.com). The exhibit will be open from February 4th-26th, 2011.  An open reception with the artist will be held Friday, February 4th, 2011, from 6pm to 9pm.

This is the artist’s first solo exhibition in New York City and 100% of image sales will benefit the Shark Research Institute (http://www.sharks.org), the World Worldlife Fund (www.wwf.org) and the Bohemian Benevolent & Literary Association(www.bohemianbenevolent.org).

Born in Bangalore, India, Al studied Computer Science and Applied Mathematics at the Rochester Institute of Technology. Between 1993 and 2004, he founded and ran a Statistical Arbitrage trading group at a well known wall street hedge fund. Since 2004, Al has been a private investor.  In addition to his passionate interest in photography, he also pursues his love of Finance, Economics, Car Racing, Astrophysics, and Scuba Diving.

The exhibit will be held at the Bohemian National Hall, 321 East 73rd Street, 3rd Floor, New York, NY 10021. Prints for the exhibition were made by Gotham Imaging, (www.gothamimaging.com), NYC.
