LAS VEGAS (January 6, 2016) — Goal Zero, the leader in portable solar power, today debuted additions to several popular solar panel, recharger and portable lighting product lines at the 2016 Consumer Electronics Show. The Venture 70, Nomad Plus, Lighthouse Mini and Flip 30 join Goal Zero's award-winning solar charging ecosystem, and provide a new array of options for consumers seeking portable power in any location or condition.
“The addition of these products cements Goal Zero as the leader in solar consumer products, and the go-to suite of products for people seeking efficient, portable power for any situation or environment,” said Bill Harmon, general manager at Goal Zero. “By offering a robust solution for nearly every portable power need, we are able to further our mission to put reliable, smart power in the hands of every human on Earth.”
Venture 70
The rugged, waterproof Venture 70 recharger – available in Q3 2016 – can withstand any outdoor adventure, and is capable of powering USB- and Lightning-enabled devices multiple times on a single charge. The Venture 70 also includes patent-pending intelligent charging technology to provide the fastest charge possible without overcharging or overheating. The Venture 70 includes two cable options – micro USB and Apple Lightning – so users don’t need to worry about packing cables on their adventures.
Nomad Plus
The Nomad Plus line of smart portable solar panels – available in Q1 2016 – comes in two sizes, 7 and 14 watts depending on consumer needs. The panels feature first-of-its-kind intelligent charging technology that automatically adapts its output based on the environment to charge any device (even smartphones), providing the most efficient and battery-safe charging experience possible. With modularity in mind, the Nomad Plus panels are some of the lightest in the market, weighing anywhere from 8oz to 13oz depending on the customized setup.
Lighthouse Mini, Micro and 400
A CES Innovation Award Honoree, the compact, 210 lumen Lighthouse Mini Lighthouse Mini lantern and power hub – available now for $59.99 – can provide light for up to 500 hours on a single charge. The lantern features fold-down legs and a hanging hook for versatile mounting, all while weighing in at only 8 oz. The Lighthouse Mini can recharge from USB or any Goal Zero panel. The lantern can also charge phones, headlamps and other devices with a built in 1A USB port and removable 3,000mAh battery, making it a necessity for ultra-lightweight excursions.
The new Lighthouse Micro is the smallest member of the Lighthouse family. The pocket-sized light is USB rechargeable and fully waterproof, making it the perfect companion for the weight-conscious adventurer and pairs perfectly with Goal Zero Nomad Solar Panels.
The Lighthouse 400 is one of the brightest lanterns Goal Zero has ever made, providing up to 400 lumens of light. It also boasts a 4,400mAh internal lithium battery with a 1.5A USB output, providing enough power to charge phones and tablets even off the grid.
Flip 30
A larger version of the popular Flip rechargers, the Flip 30 – available in Q1 2016 – can power a smartphone up to three times on a single charge. The Solar Ready Flip 30 works with all Goal Zero’s panels and has an integrated flip-out USB connector that allows for pass-through charging.

Goal Zero’s newest product will be featured at the 2016 Consumer Electronics Show (CES), January 6-9, 2016, at booth 30453 (South Hall). For more information about Goal Zero’s portable power and solar products, visit www.goalzero.com.
