Panasonic has announced the release of the LEICA DG SUMMILUX 15mm f/1.7 ASPH lens for micro four thirds systems – or a 30mm equivalent for 35mm cameras. The prime lens is anticipated to have a particularly quick and smooth AF, featuring an AF/MF switch on the lens, as well as an aperture ring. It will be available in May for $599.
