Today’s Photo Of The Day is “Lost then Found” by Harry Lichtman. Location: White Mountain National Forest, New Hampshire.

“Some locations require extra early mornings in order to reach a desired vantage point for sunrise, due to lack of roads or camping restrictions,” says Lichtman. “This view overlooking the Great Gulf Wilderness in NH’s White Mountains affords expansive views to the northern Presidential Range if weather conditions are favorable and inspires me to continue these type of adventures. Hiking several hours in steep exposed terrain in the dark by headlamp is a requirement, but the rewards keep me going back for more.”
