M-ROCK Announces New Backpacks
M-ROCK’s six modular bags can attach to either side of the backpacks to offer further carrying capacity. The Zion & McKinley include a rear compartment that can carry up to a 15 inch laptop computer or M-ROCK’s new accessory item The Great Lakes # 550, which is a 1.3 liter water bladder inside an insulated neoprene case. The Zion & McKinley have comfortable padding on their backs and shoulder straps, which are also covered with a soft breathable mesh. The McKinley offers excellent storage of the shoulder straps so they do not get in the way when it is used as a roller backpack. M-ROCK’s Modular Belt # 530 Velcro attaches behind the backpacks belt loop to offer additional stability, support and comfort if required, but the backpacks are comfortable without the belt.
Bungee straps on the front of the backpack with platform pocket below provide storage for a small or medium tri-pod. The backpacks include a weather jacket that can also be used to protect the interior of your camera when changing lenses, a lens cloth, wire port for the headphone wires of your MP3 or CD player, snap hook for your keys and lots of deep storage pockets and sleeves for all of your photographic accessories and personal items. Both backpacks are carry on compatible and easily fit in the over head compartments of all standard airplanes.
The final icing on the cake is the double access into the interior of the Zion & McKinley. You can fully open the front flap with the water resistant zippers and use the Velcro arms to adjust how far you want the flap to open. There is also a water resistant zipper half way down the front flap that gives you direct access into only the lower camera compartment, without opening the entire front flap.
The suggested retail of the Zion 525 is $230 and $290 for the McKinley 526. The suggested retail for the Great Lakes 550 Water Bladder including insulated neoprene case is $48.00 and the Modular Belt 530 is $28.00.
The above items will be available at www.m-rock.com and in many fine retailers across the country at the end of September 2008. For more information please call Michael Rockwell direct at 1-800-773-7067.
