To celebrate the 100th anniversary of the National Park Service, starting this Saturday, April 16, through Sunday, April 24, all national parks will waive admission charges for park visitors. If you’ve been meaning to round up the family or friends to explore the parks and come back with new photos for your portfolio, this weekend through next is a great opportunity.

Did you know that there are more than 400 parks, monuments, preserves and recreation areas managed by the NPS? For a complete list of all the locations participating in this week of free admission, visit the “Find Your Park” section of the NPS.gov website.

Planning several trips to national parks this year? An annual pass that provides unlimited visits for you and everyone in your car is just $80.
