NG 50 Greatest Photographs
Amazon River Dolphins (Inia geoffrensis) Underwater, Brazil
I got some pretty cool news today: my image of Amazon River Dolphins that appeared in the June 2009 issue of National Geographic has been included in their “50 Greatest Photographs” app now available for the iPad. (I don’t have an iPad, so I haven’t seen it yet, but apparently, it looks beautiful). Preview here. There is always a bit of hype to these sorts of things, but whatever you think of the concept, I’m still honored to be included.
For more about this photo, see my blog entry from last June here.
