Photo Of The Day By Andrew Kortas
Today’s Photo Of The Day is “Vermillion Lake Moose” by Andrew Kortas. Location: Banff National Park, Alberta, Canada.
“I was so very fortunate to have witnessed this rare moose sighting at the popular Vermillion Lakes in Banff National Park one stunning morning,” says Kortas. “I had to scramble to quickly grab a larger lens as it charged through the water before disappearing into the brush on the opposite shore.”

Photo of the Day is chosen from various OP galleries, including Assignments, Galleries and the OP Contests. Assignments have weekly winners that are featured on the OP website homepage, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. To get your photos in the running, all you have to do is submit them.
