The clusters of calla lilies along the Big Sur coastline have attracted photographers for years and Willie Huang’s photo gets today’s Photo Of The Day. Huang submitted this photograph to the Ultra-wide Assignment which is currently open for submissions. He describes taking this photo, “Seeing is believing. It’s difficult to believe that this grove of Calla Lilies exists by the Big Sur coastline. Tucked in a small valley that leads to the beach, this is one of my favorite spots along the California coastline. I chose to get up close and personal with this outcrop of lilies to accentuate its size.” The photo shows what an ultra-wide angle perspective can do for a composition.
