Photo Of The Day 10/9/2012
Sun Burst Through Aspen by James Hamilton
James Hamilton took this photograph in Mueller State Park in Colorado and he submitted it to the Fall Color Assignment. Fall color is peaking in a lot of the US right now and it looks like it’s a good year. Mueller took this image in October of 2011 after an early snowfall.
Get your photos into the running for the Photo Of The Day by submitting the OP galleries. I select a Photo Of The Day everyday. Images come from Your Favorite Places, Assignments and the contest galleries. The Assignments and the Your Favorite Places sections of the website have been improved with larger photos and new functions. Take a look at the improvements. You can see more of my Photo Of The Day selections on the OP Blog.
