Photo Of The Day 9/24/2012
Hurricane Ridge Dawn by Bob Faucher
Bob Faucher sent this photo to the National Parks Assignment. He describes the photo from Olympic National Park in Washington this way, “First light of dawn highlights the rugged Olympic mountains while ground fog hangs in the valley below.” The National Parks Assignment is open for submissions. I’ll be looking at this Assignment for some upcoming articles in OP, so please send in your best shots. And for clarification, you can submit photos taken anywhere within the National Parks System, which includes National Refuges, National Forests and more.
Click here to see all of the Assignments. Get your photos into the running for the Photo Of The Day by submitting the OP galleries. I select a Photo Of The Day everyday. Images come from Your Favorite Places, Assignmentsand the contest galleries. We’ve revamped Assignments and the Your Favorite Places sections of the website and you’ll see some great improvements. You can see more of my Photo Of The Day selections on the OP Blog.
