Photo Of The Day By Beth Young
Today’s Photo Of The Day is “Merced River Dogwoods in Shade, Leaning Tree” by Beth Young. Location: Yosemite National Park, California.
“Recently, I had the pleasure of a quiet, contemplative morning spent exploring the Merced River in Yosemite Valley for dogwood compositions, a favorite May activity I missed out on last year due to the pandemic,” explains Young. “Before sunrise, in full shade, this particular tree caught my eye with a very Zen mood and a simplicity reminiscent of the 15th century Kano school of Japanese painting.”
Canon EOS 5D Mark IV, 0.5 seconds at f/16, 79mm.
