Today’s Photo Of The Day is “Big Valley in Bloom” by Bill Sisson. Location: Big Valley, Pennsylvania.
“I live in Big Valley, a beautiful valley in central Pennsylvania,” explains Sisson. “In springtime, patches of blooming flowers can be found throughout the valley. Each spring I visit a small patch near my home to see how the Dame’s Rocket is blooming. One spring, the Dame’s Rocket proliferated there, and I arrived as morning fog was lifting to capture this image.”
Pentax K-5IIs. Exposure: 0.6 seconds, f/29, ISO 200, 31mm.
Photo of the Day is chosen from various OP galleries, including Assignments, Galleries and the OP Contests. Assignments have weekly winners that are featured on the OP website homepage, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. To get your photos in the running, all you have to do is submit them.
