Photo Of The Day By Bill Sisson
Today’s Photo Of The Day is “Gasadalur” by Bill Sisson. Location: Faroe Islands.
“This scene is well known among photography locations in the Faroe Islands,” explains Sisson. “On this day, a stiff wind was blowing in from the Atlantic Ocean, with gusts bending the waterfall and spray to the right. I wanted to use a long exposure to smooth the ocean waves but also had to keep it short enough that frequent gusts didn’t warp the waterfall.”
Pentax K-1, Pentax 28-105mm lens at 28mm. Exposure: 6 sec., f/22, ISO 100.
