Today’s Photo Of The Day is “Fiery Cascades” by Bob Faucher. Location: Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest, Washington.
“Early fall afternoon along the Kulshan Ridge Trail,” describes Faucher. “The low-angle sunlight casts long, dark shadows and makes the ferns, heathers and bearberry on the flanks of Table Mountain and beside the trail to Huntoon Point resplendent in fiery reds, oranges and yellows.”
Equipment & Settings: Canon EOS 5D II, Canon EF 16-35mm @ 28mm, Gitzo tripod, RRS BH-55. RAW capture: f/16 @ 1/8 sec, ISO 100, auto exposure, manual focus, Auto WB.
