Today’s Photo Of The Day is “Mist+Ice” by Charles Cormier. Location: White Mountains, New Hampshire.
“A misty cascade found off-trail in the White Mountains of New Hampshire,” describes Cormier. “I photographed this scene just after a solid rainfall and a sudden drop in temperature. I knew the conditions would be great for photographing flowing water with ice. The light and mist were an added bonus. I used 2 exposures to create a dynamic scene.”
Photo of the Day is chosen from various OP galleries, including Assignments, Galleries and the OP Contests. Assignments have weekly winners that are featured on the OP website homepage, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. To get your photos in the running, all you have to do is submit them.
