Photo Of The Day By Christopher Williams
Today’s Photo Of The Day is “The Conductor” by Christopher Williams. Location: Bryce Canyon National Park, Utah.
“This was taken at sunrise from Sunrise Point in Bryce Canyon National Park,” said Williams. “The colors absolutely went off, but I found myself focusing more on the abstracts and intimate scenes as the sun crested the mountains and illuminated the hoodoos. I scanned the area with my telephoto lens and came across this cool area where a single tree stood atop this ridge, seeming to conduct an orchestra of hoodoos in the morning sunlight.”
Photo of the Day is chosen from various OP galleries, including Assignments, Your Favorite Places and the OP Contests. Assignments have weekly winners that are featured on the OP website homepage and several images from the Assignment Gallery are picked to be featured in The Best Of Assignments section in the print magazine. To get your photos in the running, all you have to do is submit them.
